Engineering Team – Full Stack Developer

ShaikhTech Limited is a start-up company involved in property technology (proptech), virtual reality (VR) / augmented reality (AR) technologies,mobility/IOT solutions, robotics and is the Middle East partner of Matterport, the global leader in 3D VR technologies and 4k quality immersive VR tours (www.matterport.com). We are currently looking for a senior full stack developer who is passionate about creating beautiful and sophisticated technology applications to join our team.Join the ShaikhTech team for a one-of-a-kind experience working on multiple projectsto create immersive 3D digital twin applications for real estate, tourism, retail, facilities management, architecture, interior design and construction.The candidate has the option to work remotely or in our Dubai office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build efficient back-end features in Python and Golang
  • Developing back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance.
  • Integrate user-facing elements into applications.
  • Implement security and data protection solutions.
  • Design, develop and implement REST-based APIs to support business requirements.
  • Define scalable solutions using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) patterns, and Microservices automating business process models and cloud-based services.
  • Design message and event-driven architectures.
  • Lead implementation of large, complex solutions from establishing project requirements and goals to solution "go-live".
  • Full understanding of Cloud service, AWS and DevOps tools and CI/CD process.
  • Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
  • Manage hosting on AWS and server and database management.
  • Work on end-to-end product modules/features from requirement to going live.
  • Design and review code troubleshoot and act as a consultant to team members on technical matters.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and test and build automation.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional coding experience, using Python 2/3.
  • Strong Experience in Golang.
  • Strong Experience in React and React native.
  • Strong Experience with Django Python framework and Django REST framework.
  • Experience developing and maintaining RESTful web services.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and other cloud computing platforms.
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB).
  • Experience with Linux/Unix.
  • Experience processing very large data sets.
  • Experience with web application security.
  • Knowledge of Docker containers and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Scalable cloud-based services architecture, CI, CD.
  • AWS CloudFormation, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, AWS Fargate, AWS Lambda, AWS Route 53, CloudFront, API Gateway, Cognito, AWS SQS, SNS, S3, Advanced SQL, GraphQL.
  • Event-Driven & Microservice Architectures.
  • Email Sending Service experience.
  • Deep experience with the AWS stack and DyanmoDB, SES, API Gateway, EC2, Kinesis, CloudWatch.
  • Experience of working in an Agile development environment and an understanding of the build process, continuous integration, and delivery.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and Google cloud platforms is an added advantage.
  • Experience or knowledge on Java would be added advantage
  • Should understand Webserver, Load Balancer and deployment process / activities.
  • Experience on Full Stack development.
  • Strong web UI development skill set, or experience in 3D graphics and game development
  • Experience with implementation of user-friendly 3D experiences utilizing React, Typescript, Three.js and WebGL.
  • Proficiency in Javascript or Typescript.
  • Familiarity with UI frameworks like React or Vue.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in all areas of frontend development.
  • Familiarity with WebGL or OpenGL.
  • Experience with Three.js and GLSL shaders.
  • Exposure to architectural patterns of 3D applications, like games, AR or VR applications.
